I am writing to you to let you know how I feel about SuccessWare21.
As you know, I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE SuccessWare21.
We have been using this program since February of 2004. There have been many other’s before you and will be none after you. None of the other programs have ever seemed to fulfill all of our needs. They helped in some areas but failed in others. In the past, we have used programs like Summit and Drain’s to name a few. There were many others, but since you guys came along, I can’t event remember their names. You don’t even want to know how much money we have invested in the other software. Let’s just say, a lot. When we used the other programs, they were primarily for work history and invoicing. I thought they would do more, but they never did. I always had to dispatch manually and use QuickBooks for payroll and payables. QuickBooks is a wonderful program, don’t get me wrong, but very limiting for our industry. No other company really seemed to grasp what our need’s were.
We have been in business since 1974 and are family owned and operated. We are a fairly small company. We have about 6 trucks currently running with annual revenue exceeding $2.5 M.
When we decided to use SuccessWare21 we did our research by talking to other user’s. The first recommendation I would make is get the program. The second and most important is have SuccessWare21 do the conversion for you. Very, very important. I know other’s who haven’t and it totally stalled their progress. Dean came down and spent about a week with us. Worked with each member of my staff to get them started and most importantly did all the background journal entries needed to get started. It was well worth the investment. We started using SuccessWare21 on 2/1/2004 and have not turned back.
Life is great, we use SuccessWare21 for call taking, work history, dispatching, scheduling for future work, sales estimates, happy checks, tracking future work, accounts payables, accounts receivables, petty cash, checking account reconciliation, purchase orders and payroll. Theirs is so much more, I can go on and on. Don’t let me get started with the amount of report’s you can get. Too many to list. We are in the process of really utilizing the inventory side it is very interesting, to say the least.
If you don’t know, we are located in New Orleans, and along with many of our other plumber’s along the gulf coast we were hit with Katrina. Had we not been on SuccessWare21, I know we would have totally had to restart from scratch. I was able, at that time, to take my server and put it in my trunk. The next day I was able to set up at another location finish paperwork, get the money in the bank and finish payroll so that all of our technician’s who had to relocate were able to get paid. As you know, our area was totally devastated, but I was able to set up at a satellite location, start taking calls and before you knew it, business was up and running. Not only were our customer’s happy that we knew who they were, we had information on their rental properties and tenant contacts. We were able to take on new customers, put them right into the system with no problems. Had we not had SuccessWare21 I have no clue where we would have been. Having everything set up and having our “House in Order” was also extremely beneficial when it came to filing claims with our insurance company. The adjuster commented that he had been working with several other companies. Not one company, and we were pretty small compared to the other’s he was working on, had their paperwork that organized. I just printed my Income Statements, Balance Sheets and gave old tax returns. He said he was able to cut a check within two days. I truly don’t know how to thank SuccessWare21, they truly made a horrible time in our life much more manageable.
You think their professionalism stops there, of course not. I have used their customer support several times. Usually because I have a stupid question, but they are always helpful. They answer anytime you call.
SuccessWare21 saved us a second time when our server crashed. No questions asked, they put us up on the ASP side of SuccessWare21 while my IT man was trying to recover our data. They left us on that site for at least two months and never asked us for any additional funds. I loved it so much, that we converted of to ASP. Best thing we have done. My night dispatcher can work from home and have access to the same information I have just by having an internet connection. In addition, anyone of us can work from home or anywhere we have an internet connection. I have worked from Florida, not bad…LOL. And by the way, if another storm hits, no more picking up and moving my server, all I have to do is find an internet connection and my company is up and running. I wish we had done this BEFORE Katrina!
I can’t say enough about this company. Tim McGuire was one of my first contact’s with the company, when I trained in Buffalo. He is wonderful, you totally understand what he is teaching. Dean made our conversion a smooth transaction and was always there to answer any questions we had. Denise and Christine are always helpful when I call in and always get me with the right person to answer any questions I have.
I wish we had found them years earlier. They are always willing to take suggestions and try to implement them into the system. I receive upgrades for new versions, or upgrades for corrections, all year long as part of our service with them. With the other software, we always had to pay for upgrades and if there were any technical glitches, you never knew.
I just want to reiterate, I Love SuccessWare21 and would recommend your program to anyone who asks. You are truly a company who delivers their promise. Our company is so automated, no more manually tracking numbers trying to see if your profitable.
Let me close by saying, your company has truly made our work life much more manageable. You have saved us not only once, but twice. You are always friendly and helpful, as is everyone at your company. My hope is that our customers feel the same way I feel about your company. AWESOME…….
